The pizza was good, it was just a little thick for me. Heavy on the bread, The crust, you were not able to enjoy as it’s a barrier to hold all toppings in while cooking I’m guessing. Found myself eating this pizza from the toppings down; finger food.

Honestly, San Francisco had some of the best Detroit style pies I’ve had. If I was in new haven I would just get a regular new haven pie from almost anywhere, partial to Sally’s but haven’t been there in so long I can’t really vouch for it.
It looks excellent except for that cheese edge. That’s way way too dark.
